We Welcome All Volunteers...
Typically volunteers are needed on the weekends. Volunteers must be 16 years or older to be able to do construction work on the site.
We often schedule large groups through the main office (318-449-9804) and don't often have the need for extra walk-on volunteers.
Please call or drop by to find out where your help is needed. Prior to volunteering on a Habitat site, please download the Volunteer Form and have it filled out.

House Leader
House leaders are those more skilled volunteers who assist the Construction Supervisor in leading the unskilled volunteers in a specific task such as installing a window. Some basic construction knowledge, especially carpentry experience is needed. This is not a "professional" job, but a good weekend handyman or someone who does lots of his/her own home repair is qualified.
